Used Car Lemon: Three Ways to Return Car
Consumer Question: me and my spouse bought a used suv from a used car dealership and are paying 2 times the amount of the price of the vehicle and the vehicle has given us too many problems and have repaired too mutch things on it is there any thing we can do about this situation
HLF Reply: You have three possible avenues for relief, legally speaking. First, the Lemon Law. This will depend on your warranty coverage. Second, fraud or misrepresentations made about the vehicle that the dealership knew or should have known were wrong. Third, hidden legal violations in your paperwork. This will require a consumer lawyer to review your contract. Any of the three may result in the right to return the vehicle and get some or all of your money back.
