There are several sources of problems: 1) consumer errors: USE YOUR FULL NAME all the time, as this will help prevent incorrect listings and confusion with others; 2) furnisher errors (those who report to the credit bureaus): companies can be VERY sloppy and put the WRONG info on your report; 3) Credit Bureau errors: mismatching of your info with others happens!
