California Moving to Protect Consumers from Unsafe Recalled Vehicles
California lawmakers are working on consumer protection legislation aimed at better informing individuals when their automobile has been subject to a recall and whether the vehicle has been repaired. The bill, A.B. 287, was introduced in the California Assembly last month and referred earlier this week to the committees on transportation and business professions and consumer protection. The legislation is currently entitled the Consumer Automotive Recall Safety Act. Call or email your state legislator to support the bill!
