Ford Lemons: Focus, Edge, Escape and Fiesta Recalled

Ford announced three other safety-related recalls Wednesday.
The automaker agreed to fix 22,600 2015 MKZs with overly bright parking lights, 100 2015 Ford F-150 vehicles in North America for potential underbody heat shield issues, and 50,000 2014 Ford Focus, Edge, Escape and Transit Connect vehicles and 2014 though 2015 Ford Fiesta vehicles that could stall due to a fuel pump defect.
Ford said it is aware of one accident related to the fuel pump issue, which it says is caused by nickel plating on the pump that can cause it to seize and the car to either not start, or stall while in motion. It is not aware of any injuries that resulted from the accident, Ford said.
