GM Diesel “Regeneration” Problem: Lemon Trucks on the Loose

A class action suit filed in January on behalf of proposed classes of Michigan and California car buyers, claims the placement of the filter in certain GM diesel trucks is too far from the engine. The suit claims the filter placement requires the use of additional heat, causes unnecessary regenerations, reduces fuel range and economy, and inconveniences drivers by asking them to “keep driving” until regeneration is completed, which takes approximately 20 minutes. IT also alleges that the placement of the filters creates a fire risk in some vehicles. The Hanson Law Firm has successfully had these trucks repurchased as “lemons.” Call for a free consultation.
